Born in Seville and based in Malaga, Enrique Sánchez set aside his career in medicine for his life's passion: cuisine. After finishing his studies at the Escuela Superior de Hostelería de Sevilla (Hospitality Institute of Sevilla), he started a long apprenticeship in renowned and prestigious restaurants, both within and without the Spanish borders. Countries such as the United States, Japan, Mexico, Portugal, Italy, Russia, and the Dominican Republic have witnessed his years of training in the kitchen. In 2010, he left his job as professor of the Hospitality Institute of Sevilla to go into TV , years where his show “Cómetelo” ("Eat It"), on Canal Sur, has become a veritable staple of cooking shows on TV.
