Three friends from Mallorca, who grew up in the same neighbourhood, have followed their own very different personal and professional paths: journalism, sport and an army career. Many years later, their paths cross again when the journalist decides to write a book about the sporting friend's basketball club. The development of the human relationships is interwoven with the backdrop of the conflicts that mark the end of the century: the old, 20th Century which dies with the fall of the Berlin Wall and the new, 21st Century which begins life with the war in Afghanistan.
