SYNOPSIS

It is the year 26 BC. Rome is seeking a way to conquer the impregnable lands of the north, inhabited by the indomitable Cantabrians and Asturians. While the fortified city of Bérgida is consumed by flames, Sekeios, an Autrigon mercenary in the service of Rome, is on the run from the encampment after a serious incident with the governor of Tarragon. Lost in enemy territory, he is taken prisoner by Concanos warriors who take him to Aracillum, stronghold of the Cantabrian resistance. The governor has vowed to hunt him down. Sekeios is alone and in front of him lies a one-way journey that will take him to kneel before the caudillo Corocotta. To survive he will have to confront the hatred of the mountain people; and later, the brutal offensive of the Roman Legions, attempting to conquer the Iberian Peninsula. Between battles and being hunted by wolves, he finds love with Turennia... All is conflict and his destiny is uncertain.
