JOSE ANTONIO JIMENEZ-BARBERO

José Antonio Jiménez-Barbero was born in Barcelona in 1975, although he currently lives in Murcia. After several years working as a police officer and then a specialist mental health nurse, he now works as a professor in the faculty of nursing at the University of Murcia. He gained his doctorate in 2013 with a thesis about violence in schools and behavioural problems in adolescents and is working on several lines of research connected to this theme. Based on broad professional and academic experience accumulated over the course of these years, his works of fiction approach child and adolescent psychology with a raw and realistic view of their issues.
