Ignacio Lloret

The author has a degree in German Language and Literature and Law from the University of Barcelona, as well as a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Literature and Literary Science from the UPV. He has published the novel Toys left behind (Juguetes sin recoger, 2002), the volume of stories Monocotiledóneas (2008), the narrative book Your soul on the shore (Tu alma en la orilla, 2012), the novel The jungle man (El hombre selvático, 2014), the narrative book Us, like hope (Nosotros como esperanza, 2015), the novel The Potsdam bridge (El puente de Potsdam, 2016), the narrative book The day’s little flame (La pequeña llama del día, 2017) and the short story book Animated dialogues with dead people (Diálogos animados con personas muertas, 2018). He is the winner of the Prince of Viana Prize for Literary Creation 2001, Francisco Ynduráin Prize for Young Writers 2001 and the Tomás Fermín de Arteta Narrative Prize 2002, awarded by the Bilaketa cultural group. He teaches courses, workshops and at conferences. He writes for the media and has a literary blog in the newspaper Diario de Navarra.
