SYNOPSIS

It is centuries since the Earth became a glacial waste invaded by giant jellyfish, where humans hide inside mountains to survive. Makena, a young man of twenty and a biorobotics and optogenetic technician, travels from the orbital ring to the Tacomic colony to take up a scientific post and work in the area he likes best: feelings and their applications to brains in 3D. The young man also enlists in the Delta Arrow squad, a group of citizens that, with the aid of several biobots, go out to take charge of reforestation and the surveillance of the Tao Tacomic bunker, also known as Noah's Ark. On Makena's first day with Delta Arrow, he falls in love with Nomura. But basic biobots like Nomura have only been implanted the feelings necessary for survival and the protection of humans. They are incapable of love.
