The forest is a cursed place where only the most unfortunate beings dare to enter. Nevertheless, the witch Candena has been forced to live there for some time, plunged into inhospitable darkness. Candena’s life is nothing like the one she had imagined. Years ago, her attempt to outwit the forces that dwell in the forest was thwarted by an evil being who took away her only hope of freedom. Now, the witch lives as a prisoner of her own mistake with her daughter, her son-in-law and her two grandchildren. The family has survived for years in isolation, experimenting with the darkest magic. But, to everyone's surprise, it is what awaits beyond the trees that will attract evil to the heart of the forest.
