Lola Llatas

Lola Llatas was born in Valencia in 1976, and currently lives in London with her family. She studied Civil Engineering. She considers her experience as an engineer a fundamental part of her creative process as a writer, since it gave her the opportunity to live and work in wonderful places, such as collaborating on a tunnel project in a jungle in southern India and in a mining camp in the Australian desert. Her passions are writing and illustration. Llatas has published the collection of children’s novels Sara’s Mysteries and several other books for children and young people such as The engraved eye and Mim and the star hunter. Her first adult novel, Forest, is now being published by Obscura Editorial. With this novel she demonstrates exciting new skills as a mystery and horror writer.
