Cristina Sánchez-Andrade

Cristina Sánchez-Andrade is a writer, literary critic, and translator. She holds degrees in Information Sciences and in Law. She was born in Santiago de Compostela and currently lives in Madrid where she combines her work as a novelist with a university teaching position, and collaborations with various media outlets including La Voz de Galicia and El País. She has published several books with Anagrama: "Ya no pisa la tierra tu rey" (Your King No Longer Treads the Earth), "Las Inviernas" (The Winterlings), "Alguien bajo los párpados" (Someone Beneath My Eyelids), and the short story collection, "El niño que comía lana" (The Boy who Ate Wool), which one the 17th Setenil Prize for the best short story collection. Her books have been translated into English, Portuguese, Italian, Polish, and Russian.
