Ledicia Costas  is a Galician author with a degree in Law who has for several years worked exclusively as a professional writer. She published her first book in 2000, and since then has written numerous child and young adult novels, which have been translated into such languages as Korean, Italian and Bulgarian. Her extraordinary narratives have gained her important literary prizes: the Premio Nacional de Literatura Infantil y Juvenil and, on two occasions, the Premio Lazarillo, thanks to which she now has thousands of readers. Infamia (Infamy; Destino, 2019), her first adult novel, established her as one of the best known authors in the contemporary narrative scene.
