¡Uno, pequeño y libre! is the tough, emotive story of a boy of 9 who is kidnapped by strangers at the gates of his school. They take him far away and sell him to a couple who cannot have children of their own. The narrative is set in the 60s, a time in the not so distant past when awful, shameful things happened which should not be forgotten; but it is also a homage to the clear, uncensored imagination we have all enjoyed as children.
