Jaume Copons

Jaume Copons began writing for Sesame Street while working as a teacher. In the last fifteen years he has written novels, short stories, songs, plays, and television programs and series. He has won numerous literary prizes, including the Joaquim Ruyra prize and the Guillem Cifre de Colonya prize. In terms of audiovisual work, after editing the scripts for 'Los Lunnis' (TVE), he co-created 'Los Algos' (Cuatro) with Daniel Cerdà and also created other children's series and programs for independent television channels. In 2013 he published 'Yo, Elvis Riboldi' ('I, Elvis Riboldi') in collaboration with other authors. His most recent publications with Combel include the series 'Agus y los monstruos' ('Agus and the Monsters'), 'No leeré este libro' ('I Won't Read This Book'), 'L'Any del gat' ('The Year of the Cat'), the 'Todo lo que sé sobre...' ('Everything I know about...') collection and '¿Quién ha sido?' ('Who was it?) among others.
