David Trueba

Beyond his career as a director and screenwriter, David Trueba's career as a novelist has been a permanent success story with readers nationally and internationally, as his works have been translated into several languages. His novels, all published  Anagrama are: "Abierto toda la noche" [Open All Night] (1995), "Cuatro Amigos" [Four Friends] (1999), a long-seller with more than twenty editions to date, "Saber Perder" [Knowing How to Lose] (2008 - National Critics' Prize for Best Novel, finalist for the Médicis Prize), "Blitz" (2015), "Tierra de campos" [Land of Fields] (2017) and the recent "Queridos niños" [Dear Children] (2021).
