QUIM ESPAÑOL

Quim Español is an architect who also writes poetry, a field in which he has published Ultralight (Ultralleugers, Carles Riba Prize 1994), The tree of innocence (L'arbre de la innocència, first prize in the Floral Games 1998), 70 poems, Nadir and other nights (Nadir i altres nits) – the main poem of which he was adapted for the theatre – and Elegies (2018). In addition to other books on architectural theory, he has also published Between technique (Entre técnica) and Enigma, a volume of essays with a cross-sectional look at various areas of art. Francesca is his first novel.
