Gonzalo Moure

Gonzalo Moure is a journalist and author. He has been awarded several of the major prizes in the field of Children's and Young Adult literature. His writing stands out for its social commitment: the Saharui people, the Bubisher "book-busses", children's rights, equality, and the environment. He combines literary creativity with visits to educational centres, libraries, and book clubs where he speaks about his work. María Girón studied Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona and completed her training in Bologna and Seville, later returning to Barcelona where she specialised in illustration at the Escuela Llotja. She has illustrated numerous books that have been translated to various languages. In 2020 she was selected to participate in a collective exhibition celebrating Gianni Rodari by the Bologna International Children's Book Fair, see http://www.mariagiron.com
