Mariona Tolosa Sisteré studied illustration in Barcelona. There she learned to create worlds through techniques such as acrylic, pencil, collage, as well as digital media. Drawing became her passion and, since then, she has collaborated with both businesses and public institutions, has illustrated picture books, books, articles, animations, posters, and has worked drawing portraits, designing lettering, graphic images and textile prints. Her books have been published in more than 18 languages.
