David Luna

David Luna Lorenzo (Toledo, 1976) is one of the biggest names in the fantasy genre in Spain. With his novel The eye of God (El Ojo de Dios, Apache Libros, 2016) he was shortlisted for the XXVIII Alberto Magno Prize for Science Fiction, while his novel Exodus (or how to save the queen) (Éxodo (o cómo salvar a la reina), Apache Libros, 2017) won the XXII UPC Prize for Science Fiction and his short story The fever (La Fiebre) won the XXV Domingo Santos Award that same year. On the back of these prizes, he won the Chrysalis Emerging Author Award presented by the ESFS (European Science Fiction Society). He is also the author of the Tennen saga, published by Ediciones El Transbordador, in which he combines science fiction and fantasy. With his work Poison (Ponzoña, Premium, 2019) he won the prestigious VII City of Utrera Horror Novel Award.
