Marisa López Soria is a widely recognised and experienced writer of children's and young adult literature. She was born in Albacete but has lived most of her life in Cartagena and Murcia. A teacher and a graduate in Art History, she has won numerous awards for both her poetic and fiction writing. Her books have been translated into several languages, including French, Japanese, and Korean. She is now dedicating herself full-time to writing.
