Julen Gabiria Lara

Julen Gabiria Lara (1973, Galdakao) is a Basque writer and translator, a qualified sociologist and a great fan of cycling. He has written several published novels in Basque and has also translated a great number of books into Basque, from short stories about Peter Pan and plays inspired by Shakespeare, to the popular Lead in his pockets (Plomo en los bolsillos) by Ander Izagirre. This latest book is the author’s own translation of his successful novel Han goitik itsasoa ikusten da, a book that was also published in Dutch with good reviews in 2014 and can now finally be enjoyed in Spanish.
