SYNOPSIS

As winter draws in, Casimiro, an old Cantabrian peasant, finds a fairy named Zamiha in the woods. She is trapped in a snare, unconscious, one of her chestnut-leaf wings broken. He decides to take her back to his cabin to look after her. When she awakes, Isnala la Zamiha, asks if she can spend the winter with him promising that in exchange she will tell him stories about the kingdoms of the past and those that will come to pass. Thus he will discover all about the marvellous beings inhabiting the Zamina forrest. Casimiro accepts her bargain and decides that, in his turn, he will tell her the stories his mother told him when he was a boy. Come and meet, the Liunes, the Friiiils, the Mossy Bears and many more magical characters.
