Impala is an illustrator and author with a long career. She finished her studies in graphic design at the Elisava school, Barcelona in 1985. Since then she has learned to work with images and understand graphic art independently of drawing. She won the Apel·les Mestres Prize in 1992 right in the midst of the Barcelona Olympics and the design boom and from this point on she decided to dedicate herself to the creation of books.
