Daniel Chambers
Daniel Chambers

Daniel Hernández Chambers (Tenerife, 1972) is a writer and translator with a degree in English literature from the Universidad de Alicante. He has published around thirty books and has been awarded the 2012 Juvenil Everest prize, the 2016 Ala Delta children's literature prize and the 2017 Alandar children's literature prize. He was shortlisted for the Premio Gran Angular in 2004 and 2007 and his work also featured in the 2017 White Ravens list. Federico Delicado (Badajoz, 1956) holds a degree in fine arts from the Universidad Complutense. He began his professional career in 1980 producing audiovisual pieces and working for the press. He has taken part in painting and sculpture exhibitions. He has published numerous books for children and teenagers. Among other prizes, he was awarded the seventh Premio Internacional Compostela de Álbum Ilustrado for 'Ícaro' ('Icarus'), which also featured in the 2015 White Ravens list and the 2016 IBBY honour roll for illustration.
