SYNOPSIS

Pergamino is the son of Mikhola, the librarian of An, a mythical Slavic kingdom. A story about a missing cursed book, conceited prophetesses and sly oracles and creatures and powers as old as night. One night Pergamino senses that his father is threatened by a vampire, who curses him and takes away what he treasures most: his ability to talk, read and write. Pergamino, accompanied by a domestic demon and an bewitched butcher, must face very dangerous adventures to save his father. But the way is full of traps and the end is inevitable: he must find the terrible vampire. Based in Medieval Slavic mythology, this book is written in a way that is so real that readers enter into its special and magical world.
