There is more and more waste in the sea. Lota the sperm whale wants to know where all the rubbish is coming from. She and her friend Malacu the crab decide to carry out their own investigation, which takes them first to a ship, then to the harbour, and finally to the city, where they see that humans have plastic everywhere. So they call on all the sea animals to begin an operation to clean up the sea. The story, composed by Roser Rimbau from an original idea from the Rosa Sardina collective, is written for children in the hope that new generations will contribute and take the lead in the urgent changes of habit we need to make. All illustrations have been painted, cut and arranged by hand to make the collages, and the result is an exceptional example of the richness that artistic collaboration can generate.
