SYNOPSIS

A fantasy novel for children and young adults with a message about the environment, demonstrating how its deterioration is due not only to our lifestyle, but also to our indifference to nature. Koko considers herself “disorganised, forgetful and a bit of a scatterbrain”. She lives in the future, when the lands lie devastated and depleted from an environmental disaster caused by humans’ stupidity. Koko also has a tail like a monkey’s that she can use to swing through the trees. Just like Ulysses, the young girl sets out on a journey full of danger and strange characters, during which she meets Grandia, the terrible one-eyed woman, who wants to eat her, and a good witch called Jörgund, who lives between the world of dreams and the real world.
