A novelised version of the history, obstacles and difficulties experienced by a small group of women who participated behind the scenes in the historic Second Vatican Council. These were well qualified lay and religious women who made important contributions but, nevertheless, were only nominated against the will of many Council Fathers. Despite this, they embarked on this great 20th century ecclesiastic adventure in a hostile, discriminatory, machista environment. A story that had been almost invisible up to the present day which describes how those great, unknown women took part in events that changed the history of the Catholic Church.
