Duba and Lucas García have the same surname, but they aren't siblings or cousins. They are neighbours and friends, although that hasn't always been true. When they met, Lucas didn't want to be friends with Dana. He even made a wall of boxes in the garden so he didn't have to see her! But sometimes, with a little patience and humour, friendship blossoms… What a great discovery! Jaume Copons and Óscar Julve, two well-known creative producers, are the authors of this picture book through which we learn the value of friendship. Reading this story, we come to understand that human relationships need time and appreciation, and also that differences don't stop true friendshiip from blossoming. "Lucas and I play a lot. And we're also very good friends. But that hasn't always been true." Friendship is like a wild, exotic animal: it can be tamed, but you have to be very careful because it grows up to be very strong and long lived.
