Stalker

It is very difficult to provide a biography of Stalker because he guards his anonymity very closely, as some of the events he writes about are drawn from his own life. He sends in his stories on an irregular basis. In the few sources available he offers contradictory information: in one interview he said “I was born in Massachusetts" and then went on to describe himself as "Catalan by birth and by choice"; in another he says that he writes from a state of "dull, isolated retirement" and in the following paragraph laments belonging to a "post-nihilistic hipster generation”. In one brief review he expresses himself in the first person feminine form. It is impossible to imagine what a person is like and what moves a person who, when asked about his literary influences, quotes Melville, Sontag and Francisco Ibáñez. He only once seems to describe himself with sincerity: "Stalker is based on his father, as we all are. He does and does not live on in his children. He writes for a soul that both elevates and corrupts.” Amen.
