Sébastien Perez

Sebastien first saw the light of day on a winter's morning in Beauvais. He first began making up stories for himself as a child. His wish to share his stories was sparked by a meeting with the author/illustrator Benjamin Lacombe, following which he began to write his stories down and illustrate them. His first picture book, 'Destinos gatunos' ('Feline Destinies') was published in 2007. He likes to blend history and fiction, and humour with cynicism and fantasy. Curious and enthusiastic, Sebastien likes to explore a variety of rich subject areas, as demonstrated by his bibliography: 'Genealogia de una bruja' ('Genealogy of a Witch'), 'Herbario de Hadas' ('A Fairy Herbarium'), 'Los misterios de Peter Pan' ('The Mysteries of Peter Pan'). In 2015 he expanded his horizons and began writing for adults resulting in his first graphic novel, 'Las hadas de Cottingle' ('The Fairies of Cottingle').
