Sandra Barneda

Sandra Barneda has a degree in Journalism from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and has lived in Los Angeles and New York. Since 2008 she has been one of the faces of Mediaset as a presenter of all kinds of programmes on Telecinco and Cuatro, from current affairs to entertainment. She has worked in Catalunya Ràdio, Antena 3, Telemadrid, 8tv, TV3, TVE and, in print media, with the Smoda lifestyle supplement of El País, El Periódico de Catalunya, Elle and Zero. Currently she is a weekly columnist for La Vanguardia. Reír al viento (Laugh into the Wind), her first novel, was an editorial phenomenon - very well received by critics and readers. With her second novel, La tierra de las mujeres (The Land of Women), she established a successful literary career that has been cemented with her third novel, Las hijas del agua (The Daughters of Water). Her novels have sold more than 300,000 copies.
