Rodrigo Palacios

Rodrigo Palacios (Madrid, 1979), is a writer and engineer. He took an active part in university theatre, acting, directing and writing, before going on to study acting. His studies included dubbing, speech and singing. In 2009 he brought out his first novel, Los ojos del centinela (The Eyes of the Watchman), an absorbing story halfway between a thriller and noir. In 2014 Edhasa published "Estanebrage. El último Bastión" (Estanebrage, the Last Bastion), a medieval fantasy with a wide range of characters thrown together in the postwar melting pot. Later came "Motivos para matar" (Motives for Murder) (Edhasa 2017), with which Palacios jumped genre and took us into a murky world of arms dealing and official secrets. Now, with The Golden Chamber, he presents two parallel suspense stories, the result of a personal determination to document one of the most inaccessible places in the world.
