Ramón D. Veiga, a Licentiate in Hispanic Philology, has been working since 1996 in the publishing field. For children he has published in Galician: Violeta wants to be a vampire. Un conto do Samaín, É tempo de entroido!, A araña que lles tiña medo ás arañas, Meigas fóra!, Non pare a festa. In 2020 he published the online story #yomequedoencasa (#Istayhome), which summarizes the situation that boys and girls experienced in their homes during the confinement caused by the coronavirus. With Violeta prapluie e outras historias de xente, he won the 2020 Arume Poetry for Children Prize.
