Raimon Portell

The author is a Catalan teacher and writer with a degree in literature. He has been a contributor for various magazines and newspapers. He has won two journalism prizes and was the director of the magazine 'Descobrir Catalunya' and editor in chief of the magazines 'Infància' and 'Altaïr'. He has published various novels and several travel books. In 2005 he won the Premio Crítica Serra d'Or for 'Vull una corona!' ('I Want A Crown!') and in 2019 he was awarded the national prize for children's and young adult literature for the work this form accompanies: 'Camins d'aigua' ('Water Paths').
