Pepe Galvez has a long career as a comics critic, a field where he has written for many general and specialized magazines, signing his pieces under Vittorio Giardino: Variations on the Clear line. He has also collaborated in numerous anthologies, including Comics: Instruction Manual; Lorenzo Mattotti. Poet of Color; and Memory and Vignettes: The Historical Memory in the Classroom Through Comics. In his facet as a comic book writer, he has worked in individual as well as collective books (11 M. The Graphic Novel; The Forgotten, etc.). He has worked with cartoonists such as Javier Olivares, José María Beroy, Rubén Pellejero, Joan Mundet, and particularly Alfonso López --with whom he has formed the most solid artistic team of his career, in titles such as Miguel Núñez; Another Thousand Lives; Silences: The Youth of Captain Thunder; The Color of Coffee; and Winter is Coming.
