She is dedicated to art and to illustrating for children. She won the Apila First Impression Prize (2013) for the book "Monstruo Rosa" [Pink Monster], a story that teaches about diversity and its importance in enriching our society and which has been translated in to 15 languages and has sold more than 70,000 copies in Spanish. "Leotolda" received the Golden Pinwhell Award in the Best Children's Picture Book category at the Shanghai Children's Book Fair (November 2013). She has published with Nube Ocho, Planeta, and Penguin Random House. Currently she lives in Madrid and combines her career as an illustrator with work as a graphic designer for various organisations - work promoting illustration as a tool for education and for the dissemination of the values of solidarity.
