Nora Rodríguez is a linguist, teacher, and the author of numerous books aimed at a young adult audience. Among her most well known books is "Guerra en las aulas, Temas de hoy" (War in the Classroom, Topics today, 2004) which had a huge impact as it was one of the first texts to tackle the problem of bullying at school, a topic that continues to be at the heart of many of the author's social projects, discussions, and further publications. Rodríguez is also the author of "Guía genial para una chica como tú" (A Cool Guide for a Girl Like You) and "Un batido de emociones" (A Milk shake of Emotions).
Raquel Gu is a linguist and translator, but she has liked to draw since she could hold a pencil and this is what she loves to do most. She has worked as an editor for the publisher Salvat since 2008 and since then she has become well-known as an illustrator and cartoonist. She has also collaborated with various press and TV outlets. She is also the author of several graphic novels for adults, children's literature, and she has worked on all the books in the series Chic@Genial.
