Marta Gómez_Comanegra
Marta Gómez & Carla Nazareth

Marta Gómez (Valladolid, 1967) has a degree in Hispanic Philology from the University of Valladolid. She has worked as a language and literature teacher in Valladolid, Melilla and Scotland. Since 1999 she has worked as an editor for leading children's and adult book publishers in Madrid, New York and Barcelona, the city where she currently resides. She has published several books for children and young people, and a collection of stories for adults. Carla Nazareth (Mozambique, 1975) is possibly the most prominent young Portuguese illustrator at the moment. She has lived in Coimbra and Lisbon and has a degree in Design and Communication from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lisbon. She has been working as a designer since 1998, and in 2001 began her career as a children's illustrator. Some of her books have been appeared in Spanish, Catalan and Galician, and been published in Spain, the United States and Latin America.
