Mar Cantero is a writer and personal and creative coach. She studied literature at the School of Letters in Madrid and history at the UNED, and is currently a regular collaborator with the magazines MÍA, Objetivo Bienestar and Cultivar Salud, and editor of the magazine Mentes Abiertas. She has published numerous articles in Cosmopolitan and other magazines, and her published books include historic, romance, humorous and noir novels and self-help books. Notable books include The Tree of Happy Birds, (a finalist for the Ellas award), On Fridays the Bluetit Sleeps (a finalist for the Ateneo Joven de Sevilla award). Her latest novel, The Seas of the Dawn (Ediciones B, 2017), achieved critical and sale success.
