Laura Gamero/ Manu Callejón

The author was born in Seville in 1979, where she studied Audiovisual Communication. Following her passion for writing, she finished her studies with a Postgraduate degree in Scriptwriting at the Escuela Superior de Cine y Audiovisuales de Cataluña (ESCAC). She has written scripts for different television formats, especially animation for children and documentaries. After this period, she continued in the field of 3D formation, joining the studio Kandor Graphics. There she worked as producer on important projects: the short film La Dama y la Muerte (The Lady and the Reaper) which won the Goya prize for the best short film, and was nominated for an Oscar in 2010, and the feature film Justin y la Espada del Valor (Justin and the Sword of Valour) in 2013. Without abandoning her interest in audiovisual work, her interest in exploring new avenues and creating stories led to her first picture book, How to Catch the Monster in your Wardrobe in 10 Easy Steps.
