Laia Berloso has a degree in Early Childhood Education and specialises in Visual and Plastic Arts. She currently balances her teaching work with illustration. Her most recent illustrated works include Els angelets de les dents i la Malva [The Tooth Angels and Malva] (Ed. Base), La bruixa amiga [The Witch Friend]]] (MMV Edicions) and La vecina más mala de todas las vecinas [The Worst Neighbour of All the Neighbours] (La Galera). El mar que más quiero, El bosque que más quiero and La ciudad que más quiero [The Sea I Love The Most, The Forest I Love The Most and The City I Love The Most] are her first illustrated books which she has also authored, and which all tackle a pressing issue: the importance of taking care of the planet.
