Juan Luis Arsuaga

Juan Luis Arsuaga (Madrid, 1954) is Professor of Palaeontology at the Complutense University of Madrid, director of the Centre for Human Evolution and Behaviour (UCM-ISCIII) and co-director of the Atapuerca Research Team. His extensive scientific work includes titles such as "La especie elegida" [The Chosen Species] (Temas de Hoy, 1997), "El collar de Neandertal" [The Neanderthal Necklace] (Temas de Hoy, 1999), "Amalur" (Temas de Hoy, 2002), "La saga humana" [The Human Saga] (Edaf, 2007), "El sello indeleble" [The Indelible Seal] (Debate, 2013), co-written with Manuel Martín-Loeches and "Vida, la gran historia" [Life, The Big Story] (Destino, 2019).
