Igerabide
Juan Kruz Igerabide

For many years Juan Kruz Igerabide Sarasola (Aduna, Guipúzcoa,1956) was a teacher, in primary and secondary schools, and later, at the País Vasco University specialising in Basque Language studies. He has written numerous books for children and young adults, and has also published several collections of poetry and novels for adults. In 1999 he won the Euskadi Prize for Literature for the "Jonás" series published with Everest, and in 2018 he won the National Prize for children's and young ddult's literature with his book "Abezedario titirijario" (The Letter Circus).
