José Ramón Alonso is a biologist and professor at the University of Salamanca. He thinks that science is the great adventure of our times and that it should be shared with everyone who is curious about it. He has written numerous science books for both children and adults. Beatriz Barbero-Gil is never found without paper and colouring pencils. She lives surrounded by books, working either as an illustrator or a bookseller as the mood takes her. She also illustrates stories, textbooks, posters and even carnival outfits.
