JOSÉ CARLOS ROMÁN / MÓNICA CARRETERO

JOSÉ CARLOS ROMÁN: after a Teaching qualification and then a degree in Pedagogy, Román has been dedicated since 1999 to his great passion: teaching in Early Childhood Education. A tireless reader, constantly searching for meaningful titles to use in the classroom, several years ago he launched the children's literature blog "Soñando cuentos", (Dreaming of Stories) which has won numerous awards and gets thousands of visits a day from teachers and families around the world. In 2016 he began his career as a writer. MÓNICA CARRETERO has illustrated dozens of books, from Spain, England, Macedonia, Korea, Lebanon, France, Australia and the United States. Her work also appears in various Spanish and American magazines. Her work has been recognized with various awards at the London Book Fair, the Latino Book Awards in the United States and the BookExpo America.
