Joan Boix: In 1962, Bruguera published his first comic in their magazine "Sissi". He then worked for Toray, both in Feats of War (where he began to develop his own style) and in romantic magazines such as "Azucena," "Babette," "Rosas Blancas," "Salomé", and "Serenata". In 1966, he began to collaborate at the same time with Bruguera and Galaor, providing them with romantic and war stories, respectively. For this last publishing house, he created in 1968 his first work as both artist and writer, The Land of the Future, which was brought to a close by the closure of the company. He then produced countless romantic comics for the foreign market through the agencies Bardon Art and Creaciones Editoriales, until in 1971 he decided to specialize in horror comics.
