Jacobo Rivero (Madrid, 1974) is a journalist.  He currently works for the Latin American news channel TeleSur.
He is a member of the editorial collective of the newspaper Diagonal and is basketball correspondent at elEconomista.es. His work has been published by the newspapers ABC and Mundo Deportivo and various specialist websites such as basketconfidencial.com, NBAmaniacs, basket4us and ACB.com. He has also worked on the programme Informe Robinson: Donde nace el baloncesto on Canal+.
In addition, he works in the press office, and a s a trainer for the reserves, at the Club Estudiantes de Madrid, and is a member of the Club Deportivo Lavapiés.
