GABI MARTÍNEZ (Barcelona, 1971). Has traveled down the Nile, explored the Hindu Kush in Pakistan, the tropical forest in Venezuela, China's coastline, Patagonia, and traversed Australia, while writing about places, people, and animals, and the ties that bind them. To give visibility to that natural alliance is at the heart of her work, which has been published in ten languages. JORDI SERRALONGA. Archeologist, naturalist, and explorer, he teaches Prehistory, Anthropology and Human Evolution at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC). A recipient of the Research Price of the Spanish Society of Geographers, he alternates the university classrooms with field work in Africa, America, Oceania and Asia. Among his books are Africa in 10 Words, and Gods with Feet of Clay. He also collaborates with the Museum of Natural Sciences of Barcelona.
