EMILIO GONZÁLEZ DÉNIZ

Emilio González Déniz is an experienced writer in many different genres of literature and journalism, but principally a novelist, whose work includes Bolero For a Woman (1984), The Yellow Plain (1985), Half a Creed (1989), Bastards of Bardinia (1990), Sahara (1995), Hotel Madrid (2000), The Lost King (2006), and The Front Train (2016), in a collection of over a dozen novels. He has won literary awards such as the Pérez Galdós and the Ángel Guerra prizes, and writes columns for publications that include Canarias7 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and weekly contributions to The Saltpetre Chronicles, a twentieth-century journey through novels through the Canary Islands, later published as a collection. He also writes books for children and drama.
