Autorretrato de Elena Serrato
Elena Serrato

Elena Serrato was born in Seville in 1992. After finishing her Fine Arts studies in 2015 she started working as a freelance illustrator. Since then she has undertaken a great many projects in different areas: book illustration, character design, billboard design, exhibitions and album cover design. Her work has been praised by such media platforms as Communication Arts and Staf magazine. Shamanism, ingenuousness, magic, totemism, humour and ancestral cultures are all influences on her work, but there is also a strong interest in simple abstract forms, geometry and decoration. Among her main artistic influences are Hayao Miyazaki, Shigeru Mizuki, Gerhard Munthe and Bulgarian folklore.
