Elena Moya

Elena Moya Pereira grew up in Tarragona, a city on the Mediterranean coast to the south of Barcelona, in the last years of Franco's dictatorship. After attending university in Spain, she was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to undertake a Masters in financial journalism in the United States. She worked for newspapers in Barcelona and Reno, Nevada, finally settling in London in 1998. She is currently business reporter for The Guardian, after having worked at Bloomberg and Reuters news agencies. She lives with her partner in north London.
